Good communication is not only about what is intended, but also about how a message may be understood by others.

These learning materials support exploration of how generative AI can be used as an “interpretation mirror” to encourage perspective-taking, identify possible misunderstandings, and reflect on how written communication may be received.

Learn through practice

The learning materials include a scenario-based case study, reflection activities, and a quiz designed to reinforce understanding and encourage thoughtful application of the four habits.

There may not always be one “right” interpretation. The aim is to encourage a pause for reflection, consideration of different perspectives, and more informed human judgement about what to communicate and how to communicate it.

By the end of the materials, participants should have a clearer understanding of how the four Coconsider habits can be applied and how the Mirror prompt can support more thoughtful written communication.
